Classical Concert Series:
All- Beethoven Concert

Presented by Arts Council of Moore County

The final concert of the Arts Council of Moore County's Classical Concert Series will feature the music of Ludwig von Beethoven as performed by two great, young musicians, Paul Huang on violin and Louis Schwizgebel on piano.

Violinist Paul Huang was born in Taiwan and at 14 attended the Pre-College division of the Julliard School where he continues his studies today. At 18, he won 1st prize at the Sion-Valais Violen Competition in Switzerland, and was recently awarded Young Concert Artists' Alexander Kasza-Kasser Prize, which will sponsor his Kennedy Center debut in the next year.

Pianist Louis Schwizgebel was born in Geneva and gave his first performance at the age of nine. At 12, he represented Switzerland in the Steinway Festival in Hamburg and at 15 won 1st Prize. That same year, he also earned a "Soloist's Diploma" from Lausanne Conservatory. He currently studies at the Universitat der Kunst in Berlin and is represented by Young Concert Artists.
